We are building Mohave County’s first specialized group home designed to provide trauma-informed care to Teen Girls (ages 12–17) in foster care.
Located on a quiet, 2.31-acre residential lot near Lake Havasu, this 4,000 sq. ft. single-family-style home is designed to be a sanctuary, where teen girls can find stability, safety, and the space to heal.
Unlike institutional facilities, this home is professionally landscaped and designed to blend seamlessly into the neighborhood, mirroring the character of the surrounding large residential properties.
The Vision: More Than a House
This group home is purpose-built to provide a supportive residential environment rather than an institutional facility.
Size and Style: A spacious 4,000 sq ft single-family-style home.
Location: Located in a quiet residential area near Lake Havasu, deliberately designed to blend into the neighborhood.
Safety and Staffing: The home will house a maximum of 12 girls and will be staffed 24/7 with awake supervision.
Transparency & Licensing: The operation is regulated by DCS and ADOH and subject to regular audits. The girls who live here are screened by DCS, not offenders.
